“ We've been in the area for a year Ava have only gotten pizza from Capuano. To "celebrate" our anniversary in the area, we decided to try the dining room. The inside is quaint, with brick and stucco walls. My wife ordered the penne with broccoli. I ordered the linguini alla vongole (linguini with clams) in white wine sauce. Both entrees came with soup or salad. We both chose salad. They also brought some warm bread to the table with oil for dipping, though the bread did seem a little dry. I prefer my bread to be a bit more stretchy/chewy. We both enjoyed our meals. They were a good portion size, with nothing left to bring home. For dessert, I chose the affogato (special), my wife went with the fudge cake, and both of us had cappuccino. It is a BYOB but there is a liquor store next door if you want a bottle (or two) of wine. ”

“ I love the food at Capuano's. I'm always satisfied with my meal when I'm there. On my most recent visit, I had the Chicken Capuano with a side of Broccoli Rabe. The sauce with the chicken was very flavorful and the chicken was tender. The broccoli rabe side was wonderful. It was crisp-tender, filled with garlic and I actually loved that it was cut into smaller pieces so I didn't have to struggle trying to cut it myself. It can be a little unruly. I also enjoyed their cannoli and a decaf cappuccino with dessert. The interior is no frills but it's clean and the wait staff is competent. Our food came out quickly too. ”

“ I can't say enough good things about Capuano, my family and I had just come from a funeral, there were 15 of us, we had a private room which was great, the food and the service was excellent, it was just one waitress that took care of us and she was terrific, the food was amazing, so many different selections were chosen and everyone enjoyed what they selected, everything so fresh and the taste amazing, I wish I had gotten the waitress name 1-4-24 , about 12 o'clock, I just want to say thank you for your excellent service, and a pleasing personality . ”

While it's not underwhelming, it's fairly ordinary and could improve to match the excellence exhibited by its restaurant counterpart. It possesses a sort of 'Jekyll and Hyde' personality, if you will. Nonetheless, it would be fantastic to see their pizza side rise to match the heights their restaurant section has proudly achieved. ”

“ I stopped into Capuano's for a quick bite after a long work day and I must say that I wasn't disappointed. I decided to go with a plain slice and a penne vodka slice. Both slices featured a thin and crispy base which provided the perfect foundation for the flavorful sauce and delicious cheese. I was also impressed by the nice char on the crust, which added a great depth of flavor and a satisfying crunch. The pasta slice was cheese heaven and featured a nice, creamy sauce. All in all, I would highly recommend Capuano's for anyone looking for good pizza in the Flemington area. ”
